5. Link Popularity
The more links from related sites to your site, the better.
4. Site Title
Use keywords in your title. If your site is called 123fsr.com don't just put that in your title. What is your site all about and what would people search for to find it? For ezineplace.com I use "Double opt-in e-mail co-registration newsletter directory with pay-per-subscriber list builder service." for the title.
3. Domain Name
Your domain name is important in Google and a number of other search engines and directories. Try and buy a domain name that contains keywords that people are searching for and that are related to your site.
2. Keyword Placement
Use your top keywords (particularly the ones used in your title) towards the top of the page. Continue to use these keywords throughout the page, in your link text, alt tags, image file names and URLs.
